Willy Mignot, also called Willem Mignot (Eindhoven, 11 november 1915 - Hapert, 2 juni 1972), was a dutch sculptor. He studied sculpture at the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam, where he was apprenticed to Prof. J. Bronner. There he became friends with the sculptors Pieter d’ Hont, Kees Schrikker and Toon Raedecker. In 1954 Mignot exhibited at the Goois Museum and in 1961 his work was shown at the Gooische Schildersvereniging. From 1947 he worked in Laren (Noord-Holland), where he got to know Cees Snoey, a craftsman who became Mignot’s assistant. He was a member of the Amsterdam art society Arti et Amicitiae and the Gooische schildersverening. He died in Hapert in 1972.
