Ad Achkar

Ad Achkar is a Lebanese fine art photographer who was born on 17 August 1988 in Beirut. He graduated with a bachelor degree in photography from the Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik. Thereafter, he has participated in various group and solo exhibitions, including Beirut Art Book Fair (2010, Beirut, Lebanon), Ayam Gallery (2011, Dubai, United Arab Emirates), Snap! Downtown Orlando (2012, Florida, United States) Nature and the relationship between humans and nature are important subjects in Achkar’s photographic work. Achkar currently lives in Berlin, where he studies media spaces.
