Uber den Künstler
Johannes Jacob Wecker was born in Basel, Switzerland, in 1528; little else is known about his life. Wecker was a practicing physician and he wrote a number of scientific works. Among other titles he published Antidotarum Generale, about alchemy and chemistry. His work is known because of an extensive bibliography about these subjects. He was the first to diagnose a man with diphallia (two penises). Wecker most likely passed away in 1586.
