Zhang painted this series to show the situation of the migrant workers coming from the countryside to work in the city. Most of the migrant workers live in container like dwellings with very few space and are dreaming of a better life. Sometimes trying to escape while thinking they are astronauts flying to the moon.

Der 1988 in Guangzhou geborene Zhang Zhaoying absolvierte 2013 die Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts und war von 2013 bis 2014 Gastwissenschaftler am Brüsseler Kunstinstitut.
