    Fully marked with the Rookwood stamp as well as year letter XII for 1912 and the V for the size.

    Lorinda Epply (1874 – 1951) war eine amerikanische Keramikerin und Weberin. Beruflich war sie in Cincinnati, Ohio, tätig. Sie besuchte die Cincinnati Art Academy und die Columbia University in New York, wo sie Keramik studierte.

    Sie arbeitete von 1904 bis 1948 bei Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati. In den späten 1920er Jahren schuf sie einige der individuellsten Arbeiten von Rookwood (mit William Hentschel) (mit anderen in der Töpferei erfand sie neue Glasuren und Arten der Verzierung).
