- Über KünstlerMarco Klee Fallani was born in 1965 in New York. He was educated in the United States and Italy. He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence and has an MFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts. In 1990 he won a scholarship to study for a Masters of Fine Arts at California College of Arts, which he completed in 1993. He has participated in various shows both in sculpture and painting, and has won the painting award from the city of Lucca. Fallani has worked as a set designer for Luca Ronconi’s production of ‘Lo Specchio’. He has collaborated in the making of the bronze monument to Joe Louis for the city of Detroit and he prepared the moulds and the plaster casts of the Guiglielmo pulpit for the ‘Museo dell’ Opera del Duomo’ of Pisa.
Fallani currently resides in Florence (Italy). He has taught since 1987 in various schools in Florence and in the United States: Saci, Polimoda, Lorenzo De Medici, Florence University of Arts, California College of Arts and was Department chair at Syracuse University in Florence, where he continues to teach painting, drawing and sculpture since 1993. His paintings and sculptures have been exhibited in Italy, the U.S, the Netherlands, Canada, the U.K and Russia.
